Massimiliano Proietti

Since July 2023 he has been a research fellow at the Department of Education and Human Sciences, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In a.y. 2024-2025 he is teaching the course Institutions, Doctrines and Texts of Christianity of the inter-university master's degree program (UniBo-UniMoRe-FTER) in Religions Histories and Cultures. He is affiliated researcher at the FSCIRE-Fondazione per le scienze religiose; he is a member of the editorial team of the journal «Cristianesimo nella storia». 

In March 2023, he obtained a PhD from the European School in Religious Sciences "Giuseppe Alberigo", with a thesis on La liturgia del Vaticano II. La riforma conciliare e l’attività del Consilium ad exsequendam constitutionem de sacra liturgia (supervision by Prof. Marcel Metzger, Université de Strasbourg).

Between October 2021 and February 2022, he served as a Visiting Scholar at the Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life at Boston College.
