Maryam Arjmandi

Maryam Arjmandi is a PhD student in the "Arts, History, Society" program at the University of Bologna. She obtained her master's degree in Fashion Studies from the same university, specializing in digital technologies for fashion communication. After graduation, she was awarded a research grant for the project titled "Design and Implementation of Multimedia Pathways for the House of Emerging Technologies of the Municipality of Bologna," funded by CTE COBO. She also conducted applied research within the PRIN 2020 "Italian Feminist Photography" project, collaborating on the development of an application for creating virtual exhibitions. Her current PhD research, supported by a PNRR scholarship, explores immersive digital experiences in fashion, with a particular focus on XR and AI applications to enhance user engagement and narrative integration.
