Short Bio

Adjunct professor and research fellow at the University of Bologna, Department of Interpreting and Translation (DIT), Forlì campus. Her research fellowship is entitled "Calligraphy and Graffiti in Contemporary China: A Focus on Socio-Political and Economic Aspects".

PhD candidate with a research project entitled "Graffiti and Chinese Calligraphy: Looking for Identity in Fusion," focused on studying the relationship between calligraphy and graffiti in China (PRC), Taiwan, and Hong Kong. 

Deeply involved in the study of graffiti in Asia, since 2021 she has been part of the research team for a project funded by the European Research Council (ERC) titled "Write – New Forms of Calligraphy in China: A Contemporary Culture Mirror": Write – New Forms of Calligraphy in China: A Contemporary Culture Mirror [https://writecalligraphyproject.eu/] .
