Mario is a researcher and research fellow in Artificial Intelligence with over 5 years of experience in public and private sectors. He is completing his PhD in Information Technologies at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
His research focuses on Trustworthy AI, human-machine interaction, cyber-creativity, emerging technologies, and the social impact of new technologies.
He has worked on national and international projects with institutions such as the European Commission, the University of Bologna, CiTIUS, and Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is a Fellow of the global initiative "All Tech Is Human Mentorship Program."
Mario serves as Executive Officer & Secretary of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) and is co-founder of the NGO "South Working - Working from the South," focused on digital transformation, remote work, and socio-territorial cohesion.
