Marika Mascitti is a Research Fellow at the Department of Education Sciences at the University of Bologna and a PhD Candidate in Educational and Social Theory and Research.
Her research focuses on promoting pro-environmental behaviors and innovating educational processes through the use of emerging technologies. In this context, she has developed two Serious Games aimed at raising awareness among adolescents and adults on sustainability issues, applying the principles of Gamification and Game-based Learning.
She collaborates at both national and international levels with institutions involved in sustainability education, education for sustainable development, and educational innovation.
