Her areas of expertise include industrial crops for renewable energy production, with a specific focus on Brassica carinata (A. Braun) and Camelina sativa (L. Crantz). Her research aims to evaluate the agronomic performance and oil quality of carinata integrated into different food/non-food cropping systems in the Mediterranean region, proposing the creation of a sustainable value chain for carinata-based SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) production.
