Margherita Mottola is a bioengineer, postdoctoral Research Fellow of the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences, University of Bologna, working at the Pathology Department of Maggiore Hospital, in Bologna, under the joint supervision of Prof. M. Fiorentino and Prof. A. Bevilacqua.
Currently, her research activities focus on developing Quantitative Imaging and Machine Learning techniques applied to digital pathology, microscopy, and radiological images for detection, diagnosis, and prediction.
