Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna since 2023. Previously held the position of Head of Rehabilitation Services at the Santa Lucia Foundation IRCCS in Rome, focusing on organizational development, management, and control of healthcare processes in the rehabilitation field, and coordination of approximately 200 rehabilitation healthcare professionals. Research activities are directed towards understanding postural stabilization systems, gait modulation, and rehabilitative strategies aimed at recovering these abilities. Also involved in exploring the neurophysiological correlates associated with manual therapy treatments.
Academic experience has been enriched by an extended role as Educational Director of the Bachelor's Degree Course in Physiotherapy at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, successfully managing students, educational activities, and Professors. Participation in research laboratories and the management of innovative projects demonstrate a commitment to the development of advanced solutions in the field of rehabilitation and healthcare.
