Marco Manzetti

Marco Manzetti is a resident physician in Orthopedics and Traumatology at IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, focusing on spine surgery and basic orthopedic sciences. He graduated with honors from the University of Pisa in July 2018 and completed the Sagittal Balance and Spinal Deformity Fellowship at CHU de Bordeaux under Prof. Jean Charles Le-Huec.

Before his residency at the University of Bologna in July 2019, he worked as a continuity of care physician for AUSL Toscana Nord-Ovest and at the Porretta Terme district of AUSL Bologna from November 2023 to October 2024. His commitment to spine surgery includes international fellowships, such as an AO Spine Fellowship at Schulthess Klinik in Zurich and a fellowship at Universitätsspital Zurich.

Currently, Dr. Manzetti engages in patient care, surgery, and clinical research at the I Orthopedics and Traumatologic Clinic, directed by Prof. Cesare Faldini. He is also pursuing a PhD in Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna and teaches Orthopedics and Traumatology to students of University of Bologna
