Manuela Filomena Ottaviani i collaborator in the chair of Moral Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy and Communication Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna and adjunct professor for the Arts du Spectacle faculty of the University of Arras. PhD student in international co-supervision with the University of Arras with a thesis entitled: "LE CORPS JOYEUX. The practical théâtrale comme terrain d'une education aux émotions. Les cas d'Odin Teatret (Eugenio Barba)à la lumière de la philosophie de Spinoza". Furthermore, she deals with women's issues and Spinoza (from Lou von Salomé up to Paul B. Preciado). Her field of research ranges from theater (especially comedy) to gender issues (female and beyond the gender binary) with a reflection on the centrality of the body and erotism. Graduated in ancient philosophy at the University of Milan with two post-graduate masters, one in communication and information technology for the humanities and the other in theater education. Her research activity are pedagogical and artistic with particular attention to the education of emotions and gender.
