Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2020 (previously at the University of Belgrade), I work in the areas of general and applied linguistics, with a special interest in language contact phenomena in contexts of bilingualism and translation. I teach general linguistics, second language acquisition and courses on different aspects of scientific research methods.

Teaching activities

Since 2009 I have continuously been teaching BA, MA and PhD courses, first at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade and subsequently at the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna. I am currently the lead lecturer in the courses in General Linguistics (Module 2 - Perspectives on human language) and Second language acquisition within the BA degree course in Lingue e Tecnologie per la Comunicazione Interculturale, in Profession-based research (Module 1 - Scientific thinking) and Language data analysis within the MA degree course in Specialized Translation, and in Introduction to statistics and programming for linguistic research (Statistics module) within the PhD degree course in Translation, Interpreting and Interculturality.
I have also taught in multiple seminars dedicated to research methods, and I have (co)created a number of online courses in the domain of linguistics and its research and analysis methods.
