Principal investigator of:
  1. scientific study "Comparison of the outcome between endovascular and neurosurgical treatment after SAH due to ruptured cerebral aneurysm. Experience of the Bellaria Hospital from 2010 to 2014." (CE_CODE 15123)
    from 17-12-2015 to 10-05-2018

  2. Scientific study "Evaluation of the application in the Neuroradiological field of the Diagnostic Therapeutic Assistance Path (PDTA) of the patient with Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAA) and verification of the related CINECA DATABASE", proposed to the Scientific Commission of the IRCCS Institute Institute of Neurological Sciences of Bologna and financed with the sum €25,000.00 from the IRCCS ISNB Research Budget for a scholarship, year 2015 (certification N 0132265 of the ASL of Bologna - Register: general protocol 01/01/2016
    from 01-01-2016 to today

  3. Study on "Analysis of the outcome after endovascular and neurosurgical treatment following SAH due to rupture of a cerebral aneurysm. Experience of the Bellaria Hospital from 2010 to 2014" entrusted by the AUSL of Bologna with resolution dated 10/05/2016 n° 0001337 and approved by the Ethics Committee of Bologna (Code CE:16007)
From this study it emerged that endovascular treatment of patients with SAH is continually increasing and is increasingly preferable to surgical treatment when possible. Furthermore, it made it possible to clarify the clinical and neuroradiological characteristics that should lead to the choice of surgical or endovascular treatment technique.
