Ludovica Neri is a post-doctoral research fellow in theoretical philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Bologna. She studied at the University of Bologna, the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, and the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where she completed a joint PhD in 2024 with a dissertation on the philosophy of nature in the late Schelling, titled "Idee, Natur, Geist. Schellings allgemeine Ontologie des Wirklichen nach der 'Darstellung des Naturprocesses' von 1843/44" (supervised by Professors Luca Guidetti and Thomas Buchheim). Since 2024, she has been a member of the editorial board of the journal "Discipline filosofiche". Her research focuses primarily on modern and contemporary German philosophy, with particular attention to the thought of Schelling. Previously, she studied the philosophy of Karl Jaspers, to whom she dedicated a monograph ("La logica filosofica di Karl Jaspers. Analisi del problema logico nel 'Nachlass' jaspersiano", Mimesis 2021).
