Luca Di Nardo is a doctoral candidate in Literary and Philological Cultures at the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies (Italian Studies curriculum), with a research project focused on the narrative work of Alessandro Manzoni. His research interests include Alessandro Manzoni and his works, the essays of Ezio Raimondi, modern theories on the tragic, aesthetic philosophy, the essays of Peter Szondi, and both Italian and European Romanticism. His first scholarly contribution, dedicated to the presence of the modern concept of the tragic within the Quarantana, was recently published in the prestigious journal «Italian Studies» titled
Uno scrittore su più tavoli: il concetto di tragico nei capitoli XX e XXI dei Promessi sposi. Together with Marco Antonio Bazzocchi, he curated a virtual exhibition dedicated to Ezio Raimondi.
