Lorenzo Capelli

PhD student from November 2024 under the EIT4SEMM doctoral school. Member of the Statistical Signal Processing (SSIGPRO) research group. My research interests primarily focus on analyzing and monitoring the decision-making processes carried out by deep neural networks, to be applied in the following areas:

• Explainable AI
• Trustworthy AI
• Defense against attacks on neural networks

This research falls within the legislative framework of the AI Act, which aims to implement methods capable of making modern artificial intelligence systems safe and reliable.
