Jacopo Pesaresi (1998) is a PhD student in Literary and Philological Cultures (cycle XXXVIII) at the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies of the University of Bologna.
Jacopo Pesaresi carries out his research in the field of Italian Literature. His interests are particularly focused on the 15th-century poetic tradition, both Latin and vernacular, with specific attention to the humanist Basinio da Parma, whose first translated and annotated edition of the
Liber Isottaeus was recently published (Pàtron Editore, 2023). He is currently working on the edition of an anonymous and unpublished 15th-century Latin epic poem focusing on the war in the Marca fought in 1445 between Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta and Francesco Sforza (Edizioni di Storia e Letteratura, 2025). His doctoral research includes the critical edition of Basinio's
carmina composed in Ferrara during the years spent at the court of Leonello d'Este.
Since 2023, Jacopo Pesaresi has been editor of the band A journal Ecdotica.
