Adjunct Professor at Bologna University since 2017, she pursues her research in Arabic Medieval Alchemy, Medieval Linguistics end Grammar. She is most interested in computational linguistics and corpora linguistics. She has been a research fellow in the PRIN project: "Environmental Anomalies & Political Legitimacy in Global Eurasia, 12th-14th century", P.I. Professor Ines Peta (january 2024-January 2025).
She obtained her Ph.D. in 2016, after a co-tutoring between "La Sapienza" in Rome and the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (EPHE) in Paris. Her Ph.D. thesis was tutored by Giuliano Lancioni (Roma 3) and Piere Lory (EPHE) and is entitled "Alchemy and computer, a computational analysis of the Jabirian corpus". She is involved in the informal research group "Arabo a Roma 3" since its beginnings and she is memberof AIUCD (Italian Association for Digital Humanities and Digital Culture)since 2018.
She works with the Institute for Oriental Studies "Carlo Alfonso Nallino" in their project aimed to digitise the scientific publication "Oriente Moderno"
