I am currently working on dissolved and particulate organic matter dynamics in the coastal region of the Adriatic Sea (the northern Mediterranean Sea) influenced by the Po river discharge, under the EU LIFE project 'CLIMate Adaptation for the PO river basin district' (CLIMAX-PO).
In the past, I have worked on marine N2 and N2O fixation and photo- and chemo-autotrophic fixation of CO2 in the Indian Ocean using stable isotope labeling technique.
