Giulio Sergio Roi is a physician, specialized in Sports Medicine at the University of Milan. He was teaching Biomechanics at the ISEF of Lombardy and Functional Recovery and Re-training at the University of Verona.
He currently is working as adjunct professor at the Alma Mater University of Bologna, post-graduate School of Sports Medicine and Physical Exercise, and at the Course in Mountain Medicine of the University of Padua. He is also involved as a teacher at the School of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI, currently Sport & Salute) and at the Roberto Lombardi Higher Training Institute of the Italian Tennis & Padel Federation (FITP).
From 2001 to 2021 he was head of the Education & Research Department of the Isokinetic Medical Group, FIFA Medical Center of Excellence, and Scientific Director of the International Congress of Sports Rehabilitation and Traumatology.
Former team physician of the Italian National Team of ice speed skating, he is the author of some texts and publications on exercise physiology, functional assessment of athletes and patients, epidemiology of sport, functional recovery of injured athletes, and sports performance even at high altitude.
