CURRENT POSITION

Forlì (IT), 11/2024 - Present

PhD student in Aerospace Sciences and Technologies at the Radio Sciences Laboratory of the University of Bologna. Research topic: "Advanced Radio Communication and Navigation Techniques for Space It Up!"

 

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Toulouse (FR), 09/2023-08/2024

Research Fellow at the Institut de Recherche en Astrophysique et Planétologie in Toulouse (FR).

  • Conducted data analysis for plasma science instruments on various space missions (Voyager 1 and 2, Ulysses, Galileo, uno).
  • Developed a new mathematical model of the Io Plasma Torus, defining its mathematical formalism and implementing it in a computational framework.
  • Created a codebase for calculating toroidal harmonics.
  • Designed and implemented new optimization algorithms.
  • Published multiple conference posters (see Publications).
