Giulia Ganugi

Adjunct professor and research fellow at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, University of Bologna.

I hold a PhD in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Bologna and a PhD in Geography from KU Leuven.

My research interests concern the cultural and communicative processes of social innovation, particularly in the field of welfare and social policies. I am also concerned with cultural transformations in universities and the academic profession.

I use qualitative research techniques as well as creative research techniques - including mapping, artistic products, vignettes and photo elicitation. I also apply Social Network Analysis to the study of governance and participation.
