Giovanni Amerigo Giuliani is a postdoctoral researcher and adjunct professor at the University of Bologna. He earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Scuola Normale Superiore. Subsequently, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Florence. While there, he worked on the PRIN project “
Modelli di Capitalismo e Tipi di Democrazie” under the supervision of Professor Carlo Trigilia. He has been a teaching assistant for several graduate and undergraduate courses at the School of Political Science in Florence. Since 2018, he has taught a course on Italian and European politics for American Study Abroad programs in Florence and Siena. He is a member of the

. His main research interests include comparative welfare state analysis, radical right parties, and social stratification. He has recently finalized a research project investigating the Mainstream Right's Family Policy Agendas in four Western European countries.
