Associate Professor at the University of Bologna since 2002, he carries out his research in the microbiological field, focusing on: evaluation of plant / synthesis formulations, active against multi-drug resistant bacteria (MDR) and bacterial biofilm;  evaluation of the antimicrobial activity of nanobiomaterials She collaborates with various research groups and the results obtained in his research have been published in more than 110 publications on International Journals with Impact factor.
