Main research topics: Dr. Valentini is Agronomist and Winemaker. At the University of Bologna his research activity focuses on the study of vine training systems and on canopy management. In recent years, Dr. Valentini's research activity has mainly been oriented towards research describing the effects of multiple summer stresses on grape composition and viticultural strategies in response to climate change. He also deals with application of remote and proximal sensing in viticulture.
