I was born in Florence (FI) on May 28, 1996. Since 2024, I have been a PhD student in Health Science and Technology (40th cycle) at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, working on a research project titled: "Methods for the Development and Validation of Osseointegrated Prostheses for Amputees."
The project, supervised by Prof. Luca Cristofolini for the technological aspect and by Prof. Stefano Zaffagnini and Dr. Paolo Sassu for the clinical aspect, aims to develop osseointegrated prostheses for upper and lower limbs and assess their stability.
In 2024, I obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Biomechanics Curriculum from the University of Bologna, with an experimental thesis in Experimental Biomechanics titled "Morphological Characterization of the Human Tibia," under the supervision of Prof. Cristofolini.
In 2021, I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florence, presenting an experimental thesis titled "Study and Design of a Box for Laparoscopic Surgery Simulation," under the guidance of Prof. Yary Volpe.
