Francesca Fortarezza

Francesca Fortarezza is a research fellow at the University of Bologna's Department of Political and Social Sciences. Her expertise lies in the sociology of migration and asylum. Her doctoral research, conducted at the Scuola Normale Superiore (Department of Political and Social Sciences), focused on asylum governance along the Balkan route, with a specific focus on the Italian-Slovenian border.
