I am a senior software engineer with 20+ years of experience and help companies to standardize and modularize embedded software and traditional industrial automation and/or Industry 4.0.
Through industry-driven research over the past years, I focused on improving the resilience and security of these heterogeneous systems of systems. This work mainly focused on Industry 4.0 and included topics such as Virtualization systems with real-time container support, integration of microcontrollers to the system, IoT networks, and communication protocols such as LoRaWAN, Profinet-RT, and EtherCAT. In addition, complex algorithms, data science, and machine learning complement the package by helping assess and improve architectural proposals.
