Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2019, he carries out his research in the field of ancient architecture and digital technologies for the representation of architecture and design product. His research interests are particularly aimed at understanding ancient design (Roman imperial age), optimization of digital models from active and passive sensors through computer graphics techniques. He currently focuses his research on the topic of digital museums and the interaction between digital simulacra of collections and visitors.
Engaged in national and international research projects, he collaborates with the Univerdidad Politecnica de Valencia (UPV) and the Universidad Politecnica de Cartagena. Author of numerous publications in the fields of architecture and computer science, he participates in study and in-depth seminars nationally and internationally.
