Scientific activities and research experience
Responsibilities: 1) Assist the Scientific Coordinator in the management of the project and in the coordination of the international consortium of 16 partners working on it; 2) Lead the WP 7 on Cross-border political corruption. coordinating qualitative, mixed-methods and quantitative research carried out by researchers from the University of Bologna, King's College London, University of Lisbon, CEU, Duisburg-Essen and the Anti-Corruption Action Center; 3) Coordinate the research tasks entrusted to Unibo, with related data collection and analysis; 4) Co-author the Charter of Ethics and related documents; the Data Management Plan; policy briefs; and create an online atlas of grassroots anti-corruption efforts; 5) Organize conferences and workshops related to the project.
Responsibilities: - Conducting extensive data collection in Brazil and Uruguay and actively contributing to comparative data analysis throughout the entire project. - Assisting the BIT-ACT Principal Investigator, in 1) developing a secure database for sensitive data collected by the team, enabling collaborative data analysis; 2) collaborating in the development of ethics charter and risk assessment and data management plans; 3) managing the project’s promotion on social media and update its website at https://site.unibo.it/bit-act/en ; 4) co-organizing conferences, webinars, and workshops, to enhance project visibility and outreach; 5) helping to prepare grant proposals; 6) selecting team members, by integrating the selection board to select 7 country experts, one research assistant and one research fellow.
- December 2019 – up to now | Co-creator and research affiliate at the Global Anti-Corruption Studies Research Group, based at King’s College London. Responsibilities: organizing conferences and workshops, co-editing publications, applying for grants.
