Federica Guardigli is teaching assistant in Political Science at the University of Bologna, Forlì Campus. After a Master in International Relations and diplomatic affairs at the same university, since 2020 she is a PhD candidate in "Global studies. Rights, Justice and Politics" at the University of Macerata. Her research interests focus on the relationship between economic inequality and democracy, on political participation and on social movement studies. More specifically, her PhD projects explores how social movement organisations, through direct social actions, politicise needs in contexts of welfare retrenchment.
