Federica Benassi is a 39th cycle PhD student in "Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges". She holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and a master's degree in Physics of the Earth System from the University of Bologna.
The research work, supervised by Ivan Federico, Lorenzo Mentaschi and Nadia Pinardi, concerns the application of artificial intelligence techniques for coastal ocean modeling, with particular focus on waves and storm surges.
