I study evolution at the molecular and genomic level using a comparative approach, and my main interests are molecular and genome evolution, biodiversity genomics, and mitonuclear coevolution. In particular I am interested in the evolution of conflicts and cooperation, and for this reason I study mitochondria and sociality.
The biological systems of choice are molluscs and ants.
