Research Areas:
Study of the interaction between microorganisms and biochar for environmental sustainability:
1. Investigation of the potential application of microbial consortia for the regeneration of exhausted filters.
2. Use of biochar as a carrier for degrading microbial communities for the bioremediation of contaminated soils.
Education:
PhD Candidate in Cellular and Molecular Biology from January 2022 at the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology at the University of Bologna. Recipient of a PhD scholarship for research on “Green” and “Innovation” topics “PON Ricerca e Innovazione 2014-2020” (D.M. 1061/2021) financed by FSE REACT-EU.
Master’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology obtained in March 2020 at the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology at the University of Bologna.
