I am currently a PhD student in the programme “Biotechnological, Biocomputational, Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences” (cycle 37th) at the University of Bologna.
My research project is focused on the investigation of host-pathogen interactions during Parvovirus B19 infection, mainly in order to understand the basis of viral tropism and pathogenesis.
To describe myself, I would use the words 'sociable and supportive' used by some of the students during the teaching workshops I had the pleasure of attending as a tutor.
I would add curiosity and flexibility, characteristics that have led me to various experiences abroad in research laboratories in order to enrich the baggage that comes with these travels with skills, knowledge and different points of view.
