Graduated in Classics with a focus on archaeology and specialized in Etruscology and Italic Archaeology, since the eighties, first with grants from Eni and IBM related to image processing for cultural heritage, then at the Cilea (1989-2012) and finally at Cineca (2012-2016), she has worked on new technologies for cultural heritage.
During her working experience she has been for many years responsible for the SBN pole of all the Lombardy universities, she has been in charge of the computerization of many Italian libraries and historical archives. She was team leader of the Cultural Heritage sector in CILEA where she was responsible for the implementation of the Digital Library Management System CodeX[ml] platform and related projects aimed at the management, preservation, use and distribution of digital cultural resources.
Since March 2016 he is Team leader of the Digital Humanities sector of 4Science.
