Elisa Baldini holds a degree, specialization, and PhD in Art History, with a focus on contemporary art, from the University of Bologna, where she also conducted research as a research fellow at the Department of Arts. She has collaborated with several universities, including those of Padua and Bologna, where she currently serves as a contract lecturer.
An expert in Italian and international artistic movements from the second half of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th century, she has concentrated her studies particularly on decorative arts, applied arts, and design. She has curated several exhibitions and published numerous essays in specialized journals, monographic volumes, and catalogues on topics related to Art Nouveau, Expressionism and Kinetic Art and Arte Programmata.
