The main line of research focuses on signal analysis in experiments related to gravitational waves. In particular, the attention is directed towards transient signals, their detection, and identification. For this purpose, I also use analysis techniques based on artificial intelligence.
One of the key challenges in the science of second-generation gravitational detectors (LIGO, Virgo, KAGRA) and third-generation detectors (Einstein Telescope) is the characterization of their sensitivity and noise sources. Therefore, it is essential to employ signal analysis techniques specific to time series data.
