Edoardo Bassetti is PhD in Philology and Criticism, Modern Literature curriculum, at the University of Siena in cotutorship with Sorbonne Université.
His thesis was discussed on 05/06/2024 with honors.
He is a member of the international research group
INCH - International Network for Comparative Humanities coordinated by Princeton University, as well as
ELCI - Équipe littérature et culture italiennes coordinated by Sorbonne Université.
He is on the editorial board of
FINZIONI - Rivista di teoria critica e letteratura published by the Department of Classical Philology and Italianistics of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.
After studying in Bologna and Durham (UK), he has published monographs, articles and book chapters in italian, english and french on Longhi, Gadda, Pasolini, Leopardi, Banti, Artemisia Gentileschi, Virginia Woolf, Joyce and Modernism.
He has participated in conferences in Italy and abroad, as well as been selected for higher education courses such as the Rencontres de l'Archet (Fondazione Sapegno 2022) and the Scuola Pasolini (2021).
