Daniele Ferdani is a senior researcher at the Institute of Heritage Science - National Research Council (ISPC-CNR). His research activities are particularly oriented to the definition and experimentation of methodologies and integrated digital technologies for the acquisition, interpretation, tridimensional reconstruction of cultural heritage and dissemination through virtual reality systems. He participated in several National and European funded research projects. Currently he is coordinator of the Work Package 6 of the european project PERCEIVE and responsible of the ISPC scientific cooperation projects with the Cultural Institutes of the Republic of San Marino. He is task leader for the UO6 of reMoLab in the PON SHINE project for the enhancement of the Italian nodes of the European research infrastructure on Heritage Science E-RIHS and is involved as provider in the activities of the E-rihs.it mobile laboratories. He holds a Masters in Preservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Parma and Ph.D in Medieval Archaeology and a 2nd level postgraduate master in Geo-technology for Archaeology from the University of Siena.
