Genetic and molecular markers critical for osteosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma progression. The focus is a) to identify new molecular markers of the invasive and metastatic phenotype of osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma and investigate their mechanisms of action; b) to identify polymorphic variants of candidate genes, potentially involved in the development and progression of sarcomas, and to investigate their implication in prognosis.
