Chiara Vagnini

Chiara Vagnini is a research fellow and Ph.D. candidate in Management at the Department of Management, University of Bologna. Her research focuses on the industrial decarbonization of European regions through spatial econometric models and the impact of cognitive biases on sustainable sourcing decisions.

She earned her M.S. in Management Engineering with honors from the University of Bologna, during which she spent a semester abroad at the Technische Universität Berlin. As part of her Ph.D., she undertook a six-month visiting period at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, collaborating with the Sustainable Business Initiative research group.

Since 2021, she has been a teaching assistant in Business Management and a member of the Observatory on Business Sustainability. She has published in Regional Studies and has other papers currently under review in international academic journals.
