Caterina Morganti

Construction Engineer, Architect, graduated in single cycle degree/combined bachelor and master in Architecture and Building Engineering, Ph.D. in Architecture and Design Culture at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. She contributed in several research program about architectural drawing, representation and surveying. The research interests are directed at new digital detection and modeling techniques and their applications for the use, study and documentation of Cultural Heritage.

Since 2017, engaged as a Bim Specialist in the European project Pro-GET-onE (Horizon 2020); since 2021 engaged in the European projects ARCH4CHANGE and BENEDICT (Erasmus+).

Since 2024, involved in the research project “KNOW.it - Transition in Digital Age: KNOWing our background to refine our future", funded by the European Union under the research project - NextGenerationEU, as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

Caterina has conducted various research periods at foreign institutions, including Oficina del Historiador de La Ciudad de La Habana, Nihon University in Tokyo, UCSD and Universidade de São Paulo.
