Currently, I am a Research Fellow (ECON-09/B) at the Department of Management of the University of Bologna, where I am working on the project entitled "Physical and transition risk assessment in the context of the credit function and market bond financing". Prior to this, I also held a Research Fellowship (ECON-09/B) at the same department, focusing on the project "Local Banks and the Future: Opportunities and Threats Related to the Green and Digital Transition and the Implementation of the NRRP."
I earned a Ph.D. in Economics, Management, and Statistics from the University of Messina in December 2020, after successfully defending a dissertation titled "Four Essays on the Spatial Dependence Effects of Local Banks."
My doctoral thesis examined the spatial dependence effects on the main risk, efficiency performance, and tax planning strategies indicators of local banks.
My primary research interests lie in Spatial Econometrics, mainly in the fields of Banking and Finance Economics.
