Third-year PhD student in Pedagogical Sciences at the Department of Educational Sciences “Giovanni Maria Bertìn” at the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on adult education, specifically the teaching of Italian as a second language (L2) for adult migrants who are illiterate in their first language (L1). Her doctoral work centers on the role of body and rhythm in L2 literacy development through a case study. Since 2017, she has been a teacher of Italian L2 at CPIA (Centro Provinciale per l’Istruzione degli Adulti) Metropolitano di Bologna, currently on leave for her PhD. In addition to her PhD, she is at the moment involved in the project Lettere di Cura: Epistolario di Comunità, funded by the University of Bologna's "Third Mission" program at the Department LILEC (Lingue, Letterature e Culture Moderne) with Department of Educational Sciences. She also collaborates with the Bologna branch of the Movimento di Cooperazione Educativa (MCE) on several pedagogical research projects.
