Monash University - Prato Campus
After the positive 6-year experience within the framework of the Global Alliance of Medical Excellence (further information here: https://www.game-med.net/tei ), Monash University proposes the FUTURE LEADERS SUMMIT, which will be held in Prato (Italy), June 22-24, 2025, and invites students from partner Universities.
The TEI Future Leaders Summit will host a three-day forum incorporating practical workshops in Medical Robotics, Simulation, AI and Bio-design. Students will also undertake workshops which examine communication, legal, ethical, human rights, global inequity implications of enabling technologies in medical education. Transnational and cross disciplinary student groups will each prepare a short presentation about the promise and risks of enabling technology as it relates to their future practice at the conclusion of the summit. Students will also participate in a 60-minute pre-meeting virtual forum in May 2025 to evaluate learning needs, the promise and pitfalls of enabling technologies for the future of medical and health practice.
The objectives of the GAME future Leaders summit for delegates include:
• Describe the emergence and scope of technology enabled medical practice
• Understand and describe the legal and ethical implications as well as potential of medical technologies and human-machine interactions.
