Short Bio

Adjunct Professor at University of Bologna. He teaches and conducts research in the field of computer forensics, computer crimes and cybersecurity law, ICT and legal informatics. His interests are directed both at state and international law, standards and technical rules for the processing of digital data for procedural purposes. He currently focuses his research on cybersecurity legislation, on the legal and technical aspects of digital evidence in various types of proceedings, on healthcare computer forensics, on European legislation on data and their protection, on the activity of technical consultants in IT matters and on computer forensics problems related to digital technological innovations (blockchain, cryptocurrencies, AI), on the relationship between digital police data and fundamental rights. He pays particular attention to teaching based on regulatory exegesis, on the analysis of case law, and on the study of recurring situations in professional and technical experience.
