She graduated in Classical Literatures in 2003 at the University of Bologna, writing a thesis in Library Sciences and Bibliography; in 2022 she earned her PhD in Literary and Philological Cultures at the same University. In her doctoral thesis she dealt with the impact assessment of enhancing cultural heritage and special collections in university libraries.
Since 2019 she has been a member of the Research Center in Bibliography (CERB) of the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies of the University of Bologna. Here, since 2021, she has been "cultrice della materia" in M-STO/08 disciplines.
From 2005 to 2024 she had been working as a librarian at the University of Ferrara, dealing especially with the management of special collections. In 2024 she started working at the Soprintendenza Archivistica e Bibliografica dell'Emilia Romagna.
Her most recent scientific and professional interests also concern the contribution of libraries in pursuing the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, a theme that she also follows as part of her commitment to the Italian Library Association (AIB).
