Scientific activity

The academic activity is devoted to animal welfare, law and ethics.

The research activities are focused on:

1. Legal medicine and veterinary legislation whit particular regard on animal welfare, animal health and the crimes against the animals;
2. Animal welfare and sustainability of livestock farming:
3. Bioethics: issues regarding the use of animal for scientific and educational purposes
4. Other research activities are based on clinical activity in companion and farm animal species.

Planning and coordination of 25 research projects reviewed at national level, 3 at international level and participating in 121 others competitive research projects.
