Angelica Fiorillo is a research fellow at University of Bologna, working as an archaeozoologist on the ERC SyG LAST NEANDERTHALS project. She obteined her Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata." Throughout her career, she has specialized in the taxonomic and taphonomic analysis of macromammal remains, gaining extensive experience in identifying, cataloging, and interpreting faunal records, particularly from Paleolithic contexts. Her work focuses on exploring ecological and behavioral enviroments. She has contributed to several research projects and archaeological excavations, often taking on leadership and supervisory roles at both prehistoric and historical sites.
