From 2025, Antonio Maria D'Altri is Associate Professor of Mechanics of Solids and Structures at the University of Bologna.
From 2022 to 2025 he has been appointed as Senior Assistant professor at the University of Bologna. In the same period, he has worked as Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow (Global Fellowship) for the HOLAHERIS project (269k€) - "A holistic structural analysis method for cultural heritage structures conservation" - which involved a 18-month outgoing phase at Princeton University (US), a 6-month secondment at Universidade do Minho (PT) and a 12-month return phase at University of Bologna.
In 2022, he has achieved the National Scientific qualification as associate professor in the Italian higher education system for the disciplinary field of 08/B2 - Structural mechanics.
Form 2019 to 2021 he has worked as Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of Bologna.
In 2019, he obtained his PhD at University of Bologna in Structural Mechanics (ICAR/08) with the thesis "Advances in computational analysis of masonry structures".
